  • Corvette cone intake?

ok guys you know the intake you see on some ls1 camaros and ls6 vettes? pretty much just a cone coming off of the throttle body? has anyone ever done this? would it be very efficient? how could you do it and still put in that sensor?

a guy in our local club did this on his 96.

I think hes on here to.... his name is something like L337-Rs i think.

I didnt ask him about how it performed. i believe he just put the sensor in a piece of ducting, and then connected the ducting to the filter and the tb

I was thinking of that when I went to a car show and i saw it on a corvete and was wondering if it would work on our car. let me know if you find anything out.

you could use the fra, the air would flow up and into the filter, so it might be even better than on the vettes, especially for those of us with the angled tb, i think that gives us a lot of problems with like whisper lids and stuff like that...
