  • rattiling cat signal death? :(

    There is a constant rattiling under my car, i put it upo on my ramps, i thought it was the muffler but it sounds like its from the cat convert. :( does this signal the death of it? Or is something loose? i'll go under and see whats up when its colder :( please help!

    Either a bad cat or loose heat shield... Good news - GM warrantys the cat for 8 years or 80,000 miles... I've had 3 [img]graemlins/evilgrin.gif[/img]

        Ya, i don't think im still in the warranty since i have 112k miles :( but how much would it cost to replace the cat? any one know?

          You can get a brand new highflow cat from summitracing for 50 shipped. It's a nice upgrade and it's worth every penny. I think the number is 6007 (universal) 3" in & out catco. Check it out, I recommend it. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
