  • TPI TB instead of LT1 TB ?

Anyone know what the differences are between the TPI and LT1 tb? There are only TPI cars at the local junk yard and I'm wondering if I could use one of those instead of an LT1. If not will any year LT1 tb work?

Harry, did you try pick-a-part or Central Auto Dismantlers? I think I seen them parting one out inthe Bee a while ago.

I tried both with no luck. LT1 tb's are a hot item. I'm not in a hurry to get one. I still need a second upper intake manifold. I was just wondering if I could easily substitute the TPI tb, there's plenty of them around here. They look very similar and I know it has the same size bore.
