  • getting new cat, which one?

    Pace Setter Hi Flow Cat 2.25" 3.8L max
    or
    Pace Setter Hi Flow Cat 2.5" 3.8L max
    or any other suggestions?

    right now i have a borla catback

        I would say get the same diameter as your exhaust system to eliminate a bottleneck.. So that would probably be 3".. But if you don't have headers or plan on getting them, then you might not see a difference between 2.25, 2.5, or 3".. I'm not sure of all the different flow rates, but if anyone knows them from the exhaust manifolds, just make sure you keep a flow rate above that to prevent a bottleneck.

        You may also want to look into a CarSound converter, they supposedly are pretty good with not throwing any codes.. I got one put on and I am getting a code but I think it's from a faulty sensor in the headers.. The CarSound converter is relatively cheap too.
