  • overheated after catback install???

ok i finally got the overaxle pipe in and put it all together. but the fist time I drove it today i drove probably three miles to check how it sounded and I looked down and my temp gauge was all the way hot. I pulled over and the coolant was comming up and out of the fill spout. I let the car sit about 30 min. then drove it and it didnt overheat at all. Is this normal or is something wrong? thanks.

your car must have been PMS'n or somethin. after all my exhaust mods it ran cooler and cooler after each mod. if it runs fine now id say leave it alone and watch it for the next week REAL close! if the problem persists, call the car doctor in the morning for a prescription and hopefully it will get sorted out. all i could think of is something is blocked and the exhaust isnt able to leave the engine, but that would lead to your car actin like sh*t too, which i assume was runnin fine as you didnt mention it. but, keep an eye on it and let us know. good luck :D
