  • How do you install a 3.4 TB byPass?

    I just recieved it from ebay today,And I got a diagram of a 3.1.I emailed CailPerforamance and they said they have the same set up as the 3.4.But in realitly they are different.So how do you put this bypass kit on?

    install? you can just use whats there to do the bypass. the 2 tubes that run up and down to the throttle body, just switch them to make them run left to right. in other words, pull the bottom off the right tube, pull the top off the left tube and switch.

      That won't do you any good.I don't know what came in the kit but I did mine for like $1, what you need to do is pull both tubes off then get some sort of connector from home depot (I used a brass hose coupler looks alittle like this but smaller http://www.esska.de/esska_eng/bilder...n/schlauc3.jpg ) put one hose on one end and the other on the other end then tighten them down with hose clamps.

        3.4 Bypass kit
        Heres what I bought.I thought I was getting more but all I got was a $1 Black waster hose and two plastic plugs.Aqnd I paid a arm and a leg for it :( My loss [img]graemlins/twak.gif[/img]

          the only thing you need is two hose clamps, just completely remove one of the two hoses, then remove one end of the remaining hose from the tb and connect it to the other coolant spout, then clamp.

            Hey when I ever get around to installing it,Will I notice a slight difference?.This mod wont Buck up the comp will it? Or have any side effects like over heating?And Why in the hell would they have the Coolent running through the TB
