What can anyone tell me about cat-back systems from Borla, B&B Performance, SLP, and Pacesetter? I don't want to use an American Thunder from Flowmaster, to tinny at high RPMs. Thanks for he help

I must have been to several different forum sites and read every review about cat-backs. I personnaly just installed the flowmasters series 80 catback and love it. However, I have read that Borla system sounds the best. Which seems to be the overall view of just about everyone. Borla is alot more expensive than the flowmaster system or at least so I've read. Hope this helps.2001 Convertible Camaro
Mods:Jet PCM, Flowmaster Catback, SLP RAI, Whisper Lid, K&N Air and Oil Filter, Jet Low Temp Thermostat

I personally love my flowmasters. I've heard a couple of different setups, and it seems that by nature any exhaust on our cars will sound tinny at higher RPMs. That gives you an excuse to get some headers/hi-flo cat also. But it's mostly about how much you want to spend. The performance difference in each is negligible, and sounds are personal preference.AIM: Alientr8tr
1998 Camaro 3.8L
Flowmaster 80-series, !FRA, Eibach Springs, KYB AGX, SLP sway bars, 3.42/LSD, Wings West kit, Z06 Motorsports, Silverstone Metallic paint
Shift 5 - My Band

Look into Edelbrock if you don't want a Flowmaster and you don't want to flush a bunch of $$$ down the toilet.Matt
2000 Firebird

FullThrottleV6.com
