get a resonator in the I-pipe or put resonated tips on in order to get rid of the popping. my 3" flowmaster 80 cat-back popped really bad when they first put it on w/o tips, and then when they put the tips on, it didn't pop at all. it'll still be pretty loud, and it'll be smoother than it was before.2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

I think the resonator in the i-pipe will do little for the popping. I believe the popping is mainly due to oversized tips.
I think an 3 inch I-pipe will make it louder/deeper, but I think that rasp is mainly muffler, and that the popping is mainly tips.Keith - 99 'maro - White M5 - bumpstick and boltons - 13.65 @ 101 N/A

Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 10:30 PM
