  • tsp true duals

Im lookin into replacing my flo. and i stumbled across these lookin at tsp's site. Would these fit? What adjustments and/or extra parts would i need to make them fit? or is it just worth it to go with the normal rumbler catback?

There was a HUGE thread on this a while back. While the under-carriage of the LS1 and our cars is the same, these true duals are emant to bolt up to a long tube LS1 header, which exit way back further than our manifolds or even aftermarket headers do.

But a good exhaust shop could fabricate the pipes between the duals and manifolds if you wantd them to. It's more exhaust than you need (3" true duals is way over kill for even the strongest of our cars!)

it is not worth the hassle and i would bet money on it that it does not sound good at all with our v6. I looked at it a little bit when i was thinking of doing a twin turbo setup but even then it was more than i needed. Besides it adds more weight ;) . stick with the rumbler.

A, it would sound good, just pretty loud.

B, it is only a few pounds heavier than the Rumbler...which is ALOT lighter than most other aftermarket catbacks, such as Flowmaster and the like.

But yes, the Rumbler is a good choice!!

the comment about weight was really a joke. the duals might sound good i havent heard them my first instinct just told me that it would. I do like the rumbler though, very little rasp and big hp gains.

Do a search. I know a member here (I think it was Dominic) went with true duals (2.25") and hated the noise. Said it was horribly loud.

            Here you go.

Edit again: Sorry, these are NOT tsp true duals. Just another line of thought.
