    Is it possible to get the airbox from a 98+ camaro to fit on a 97?

    Thats a good question. I'm not sure but I think there's a clearence problem with the hood. Thats why the 95-98 3.8's have the angled TB and it just took a year to switch to the straight TB once there was more room under the hood. Don't quote me on that though.

      I've read that before somewhere, too. That the reason for the '98 restyle was to make room for the revised intake. It makes sense too, because the front end of the hood and header panel do sit higher on the 98+ Camaros and Birds
