  • Where can I get a 3" S-pipe?

This sounds so dumb but I recently got a borla. Went to the exhaust shop, and they don;t have any mandrel 3" S's. I called borla, summit, thunderracing, jegs. Jegs said flowmaster sells them in packs of six (that doesn;t do me any good). So, does anybody know a place or a person that will sell me a 3" S-pipe? Going from a catco 3" to a 2.25" s-pipe to a 3" Borla won;t do much good.

    Thanks

Just buy two 90 degree mandrel bends. You can get those practically anywhere. Your exhaust place might even have some in-stock.

...and don't let the obvious stab you in the face again. ;)

Someone has risen with the notion that my post was intended as unfriendly. Just to clarify, it wasn't. It was meant in jest, along the lines of "right under your nose." I was simply tired and didn't much think about it at the time.

Nothing taken ... the exhaust shop did not want to initially do it that way to make it look better. Does anybody know whether 2 45* will fit?

Yes, they will. I hear you just need to cut the intermediate pipe a bit to make it line up correctly.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
