• CAI change exhaust sound?

I just installed my 2.5" dynomax superturbo exhaust and I love it. Sounds great, nice and deep, not ricy. Also added power to the top end . Next I want to ad a CAI, like SLP's, and I'm curious as to how that might change the sound of my exhaust. Any input appreciated.

ps, I did do a search, but didn't seem to find the answer to my particular question, thankx guys.

Mine didn't change my exhaust note, but it does whistle a little when it's cool outside. Nothing like hearing twin cone filters sucking some cool air.

I heard it was supposed to make it deeper, but I didn't notice a change. It does make a cool sucking sound though. :D

Does anybody have problems with rain getting sucked up into the CAI? Any performance gains with the CAI?

I know my Whisper Air Lid made my car deeper.

Thanks guys, this weekend I'm going to try the free ram air (ram air, yeah right, more like free room to breath), I'm also going to get rid of all the ribs on the inside of my lid and make it smooth, that should help with airflow. I just had to spend all my mod money on more books for college, so I'll do the free stuff for now . I'll post how it goes and if I notice any difference in sound/proformance.
