Does anyone know if the filter box from a 97 LT-1 will fit on a 97 3.8? I have a buddy who is giving me his, witht he K&N filter. It looks like mine, but I wasn't sure. has anyone ever done this before? I may just take the filter and put it in mine, but it looks like the box he has is slightly larger. maybe better airflow than the v6 one?

The 2 airboxes are the same, practically...the only difference is the elbow on the LT1 intake as compared to the V6 elbow, and that's about it.

Just a note...the LT-1 airbox and the V6 box are identical...but the free K&N filter was nice. :D
