    i am very happy with my SLP CAI i just installed, but did everyone else find that the filters seemed to be a little too close to one another (i know they are angled at 5 degrees), also the block off plate doesn't seem to sit flush, is this normal as well...

    these are minor concerns, i have to say i got mine from stealth performance out of portland (i got it mail order, 199.95 shipped!!!) and it's well worth the money... K&N one's just dont cut it...

    I just bought a cone K&N filter, and stuck it on the stock arm. Cost me about $60 [img]smile.gif[/img]

      i could not get my block off plate to sit flush either... its not that big of a deal.

        Yeah, I couldn't get the plate to sit flush either. I wouldn't worry. As for the filters, I didn't have a problem with them being too close, I'd just try twisting them around till you find the best position for them.

        I think its great mod, but dang, I just refused to pay $200 for the damn thing. I think I ended up paying $110 shipped.

        Either way, glad to hear your install went well, and hope you enjoy it!
