I just bought an SLP muffler with tips and I got it put on.. Its not what I was expecting and I'm really not to happy with it.. SO.. I was wondering if I put a high flow cat or a dynomax bullet muffler in place of the cat if it would sound any better? My car sounds good only thing is it's not very loud at all. Now I dont want to bust anyones eardrums but I wanna be noticed.. haha Any help is appreciated..

well I dont have my exhaust on yet but I have summit racing turbo muffler, (used) and a CATCO catalytic converter which i am purchasing if i get a good reply from a post i am putting up on this forum.
from what I've heard you will get a much louder sound with a cat converter, I have heard a Z28 with a random tech cat and it was twice as loud as the other z28 in the parking lot with flowmasters. just buy a cat and try it out, or just wait for me to put my exhaust on and tell u the results.2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6
M6, Magnaflow\'s 14336
C6 Pics

Old car:
1996 Firebird A4
SLP Cold Air Intake
Magnaflow Catback Exhaust
Magnaflow Catalytic Converter

George Mason University
CEIE Major
Pi Kappa Alpha

Firebird Pics
