  • Need Some Help

Here's the deal: I have headers, high-flow cat, & full exhaust as you can see from my sig, I've had it for a couple of months. I didn't change my 02 simms now my SES light went on. I went to AutoZone, they said the code had to do with my timing being off, but my car is idling fine. What code did you guys get when your 02 simms went bad from having headers & high-flow cat?

    Thanks for your help.

Did they tell you the exact code? If so what was it? B/c it doesn't sound like the code has anything to do with the o2 simm from their description.

Go to Autozone and get it scanned again. This time go out there and write down the code number yourself. I had 4 codes they pulled but the guy wrote down 2 of them wrong. He wrote down one of them as "power steering pump failure" when it was supposed to be "fan 1 control relay"

O.K. went to Autozone again and got code P1336, he scrolled through it and that was the only code it was. When I went to the 1st AZ they said it was my timing. Now it's:
            P1336 Crank/Cam Sensor Range/Performance
Does this mean I have to change the Crank sensor and the Cam sensor? The guy that helped me out said just the crank position sensor.

And how hard would it be to change this?

P1336 - Crankshaft Position (CKP) System Variation Not Learned

That should answer your question of which to replace.

I love it. When I first put it on I only put the muffler and when I got the cat-back and intake the sound got even better.
