  • Should i get this used loudmouth?

i can pick up a used loudmouth w/out the tips for $175. it has approx 4k miles on it and he said its super clean and polished up. i don't want the tips since i have b&b's and i want the loudmouth since it has 2.5'' outlets unlike the rumbler w/ 3'' outlets. should i go ahead and get this or try to go lower on it?

If you are set on loudmouth, then get it, it is a decent price. However I would recomend the ls1 3 inch outlet flowmaster american thender system. It sounds really mean on 3.4's.

i have a flowmaster w/ 2.75'' piping and a 2.5'' high flow cat. it sounds alright but i think i'm ready for a change. i'm thinking i'll see how the loudmouth sounds, then if its real raspy i'll replace the resonator w/ a sweet thunder chambered muffler. i want to make it similar to the gmmg set-up, except only one muffler along the i-pipe instead of two out the back.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
