    What would be best?
    Flowmaster 2.5" cat back or just jump up to 3" cat back.
    And what would it take to put a 3" on a 00, 3.8?

    depends on what you're going for. if it's just for sound get the 2.5" and if it's for performance definatly go 3". All you'll need is a 3" s-pipe and that's only if you buy an ls1 catback. If you buy a v6 or LT1 it'll bolt right up. (LT1 has different hangers though)

      Don't waste your money on that 2.5" "upgrade". Either go with 3" (yes!) or at least get 2.75".
