  • 3" to 2 1/2" reducers

Does anyone know where can I get those reducers. I went to 3 Meineke shops, one of them wanted $60 for 2, others said they can't make those, becuase the difference is too big. I see most people here have 3" cat. conv., but how did you install it? I have pacesetter headers with 2 1/2" collector size and 2 1/2" exhaust. Is there any way I can install my cat. conv. without paying $60 just for reducers? Thanks for the help.

Well, if you want to ghetto it, but a 3" to 2 3/4, and a 2 3/4" to 2 1/2" and weld them together. It'll look like crap, but it'll save you money...

You need a sig. Just have the shop expand the end of the 2.5". I have a B&B and they just used a hydraulic pipe expander the hook it up to a 3" flange.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
