  • Should I replce theS-pipe after my cat.

I've just ordered my headrs and y-pipe frm CIA as I posted before and they should be here next weeek with my SLP ram air hood. I also ordered a 02 sim. cuz im goin to gut my stock cat., but some of you have told me I wont need the 02 sim. Let me know if this is true. Now for my new question. Should I replace the S-pipe after the cat that connects into my Borla cat-back. Or should I just leave it as a stock pipe as the carmay need the little bit of backpressure. If not and you all say it ok to replace it then im goin to have a muffle shop put a 3"in pipe there to connect to he cat or a 2.75' pipe which ever is bettr dpending on what you all tell me. Thanx guys!

    i would reaplce it..

in fact, i did when i did my headers..

by replacing it it will also allow you to get a better fit with the new headers.. becuase you can adjust it's length to make it so nothing hangs down too low..

best way IMO is to get a 3" u-bend from jegs
cut it in half.. and start adjusting till it fits.. then weld it up..
