  • Carsound Cat model Number?

I'm going to upgrade to a 3" cat now that my car has hit 50k. I've seen Carsound cats on Full Throttle Performance's website. there are cat's w/ AIR provisions, O2 Provisions, and Dual O2 provisions. I wanna know which one I need for my 2001 Firebird so I don't throw any codes.

You will not need the AIR provision and the O2 bungs depend on the placement of your stock O2 bungs. If the stock ones are on the y-pipe and s-pipe (just after cat) then you won't need those to. Look under your car to see the current placement and that should answer you question. We offer the ones with the O2 bungs for people that have headers or cat-back exhaust systems in case they have eliminated their bungs by the addition of these parts.
