  • Is true dual exhaust better than open borla?

I've been wondering about this. I think I need to ditch the borla because every time I smog my bird I'm borderline failing. Borla is close of course during smog. Once the smog is done I run it open again, which frees up some HP.

If I go with the dual I could put 2 cats on it and make it legal. But I wonder if they are better than an open borla?

I don't have OBD2 anymore. I went with Random Tech Cat. I just read somewhere that Calif. might not accept Borla because they are always borderline.

goodluck setting up a TD, most of the time its a waste of money. And if you are passing, then why change?

I just wanted to know if there's better gain with TD over open borla.

The things there's several more stuff I want to add mod wise.

as much as i love a nice set of duals...save the headache and keep the borla setup.

Gains are going to be minimal for the cost. Biggest difference will be sound.

Yes, it's the regular Catback Borla.

After doing a little bit more research I think you're right.
