I have a 2001 v6 camaro and want to get a cold air intake for it, but the only one i can find is the K&N air intake. Are there any other ones out there that work just as good, but aren't as expensive?

whisper lid, but you will have to find a used one, as the company no longer makes them. Or just shave the fins out of your lid, and replace the silencer with some pvc tubing

There is also the FTRA (Fast Toys Ram Air).. in combination with the whisper lid, or by it self.

You can also make any LS1 lid work.

k&n fipk kit, to me was the best for looks and performance. but the performance gains with the slp intake and whisper lid were the same...just didn't look special.

Cheap SLP or other LS1 lid, and a Chrs1313 Ram Air from Speed Inc. Trust me, I'm a professional.

Anyone have any luck with the ebay types that are just a metal pipe going down below where the airbox sits?

Would absolutely not recommend that for a 99-02 car
