Do Resonated Tips Hiss?

Hey everyone, hope your spring/summer is going well.

I'm curious, do resonated tips tend to hiss when mashing the pedal? My exhaust has no leaks FYI... Just not sure if my Ansa tip is doing this or if I need a bigger tip or perhaps remove it.
My exhaust is stock 2.25, stock cat, borla muffler (single/single) and a 2.25 in 2.50 out Ansa resonated tip. I also did the intake baffle delete/fin removal and have a K&N air filter. Overall, it sounds great but at high rpm between 2nd and 3rd it sounds like it is hissing. Might my stock cat be the culprit?

Thoughts?

Could be the intake.

Thanks lil' Jon but I don't think it is the intake. The "hiss" is clearly coming from the rear of the car. I'm thinking it is the resonated tip but can't be sure, anyone else on this forum have a resonated tip?

i do, but they dont hiss. sounds like a leak somewhere. raise the car up and listen.

No leaks 187. Do you have dual tips? I'm wondering if my single in out exhaust is the issue?

my cat back does this hissing aswell coming down from 3k rpms

i agree with OneEigthSeven, raise the car up and listen. you'll never know what/where it is until you check.

There are no exhaust leaks, it has been checked...

I put on a K and N intake filter, and I get a hiss like a whistle sort of. Mixed between like what spray would sound like and could be confused with a quiet BOV.
