  • Muffler V6 with dual Outlet

    hi,

I have an 2001 3.8V6 Camaro, with an muffler with single outlet.
There are V6 Camaro's and Firebirds which have a muffler with orginal dual outlet (partnumber GM: 10306198).

my question is, was this an option then, and will this muffler gain some extra horsepower ?

It was the Y87 package. You might see a little gain but little. Better to with an aftermarket if u really want a different

to the OP, the w68 option leaves alot to be desired for sound, and performance. As stated above an aftermarket cat back exhaust would more than likely be your best bet.

Nothing beats Borla full cat back. You can open it up for less restriction.
