      Re: Muffler bearings???

I looked. I knew it had to be a joke or some fun story, but I looked.

Ok, well here's a quick story for ya.

Way back when my brothers and I were new as hell at anything automotive.. One of them was learning about parts and ordering them for the family business. Our supervisor told him to order some muffler bearings. He called up some parts supplier and actually asked about muffler bearings. Everyone had a good laugh. I hope to do the same to someone someday. I gotta go find some headlight fluid..

Kyle's dictionary of fake auto parts:
        Halogen fluid
        Piston return springs
        Valve burners
        Manifold drive

those are the ones i think are funny

didnt someone post a link up to a website full of fake parts...

edit-sky hook and pipe stretcher funny aswell.

If you wanna have some fun, next time you go to an auto parts store and it's obvious the person doesn't know much about cars, tell them you need some muffler bearings for a '67 Henway. When they ask "what's a henway?" tell them anywhere from 3 to 5 pounds depending on how you feed it.....
