  • Borlamouth vs TSP Rumbler

After a year with the Rumbler I'm past enjoying loud. I'm ready for something a bit quieter. But instead of looking at an entire new catback I was considering doing the Borlamouth setup on my rumbler.

Question is, would replacing the rumbler's bullet with an XR-1 help at all. I'm not looking for whisper quiet or anything. I just don't want screaming hell anymore when I get up and over 4k.

borla xr1 will deepen it, and give it a much more aggressive rumble then you can imagine.

I have mine dumped before the rear axle. Its loud but tamed.

If I remember you had a video on Utube on your exhaust.

I've got a selection of videos on youtube of my car, but I lost my camera prior to the rumbler going on unfortunately.

            Pacesetters, open Y: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBW42rdHwE0

            Pacesetters, stock cat, cutout: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJAyaTqDLDE

As for now, it's pacesetters, 3" magnaflow cat, 3" spipe, and TSP Rumbler. I really don't care for the tone of the Rumbler, to be honest. At idle it's a bit flat, anything over 4k when driving is just annoying drone / wail. Just not a pleasure to drive.
