  • Ignition Question?

I just got NGK platinum plugs and a set of 8mm wires, do I need to change the coils too?

if you want you can. it will give you better milage if you change it with Accel or any other performance ones. it will also help your top end.

any reason you went with the NGK's? they typically run a little colder. great for forced induction or NOS but they can build up carbon deposits faster than OEM AC Delco plugs on vehicles that don't necessarily need a colder plug....

coils are a nice addition, especially at higher rpm's, but i've heard a lot of people having trouble with the accels.

I looked around and most people recommended the NGKs over the Bosch and AC Delco. Oh well, I'll see how they work. Yeah I don't want the Accel coils, people don't say too much good stuff about them, I heard MSD makes them? Any other suggestions?

Do you have any suggestions on any other types of coils that would work on a 1994 3.4L. The only ones that I have heard of have been the Accel ones.
