This is z38camaro's friend (brock) NOT chris

i just bought a 96 v6 camaro and the rod has a HEAVY knock and the engine was not maintained well at all.

so i found a 3.8 off craigs and it is said to be completely rebuilt.

    its even in the wrapper.

all i need is the engine part.

    everything else im keeping.

    HELP! =S

OBD I and OBD II are different. So, no. That's a good find though.

when you say all you need is the engine part, are you talking about just the block, and you are going to swap your heads and intake over and everything?

but to answer your question, no it will not work, the engine internals are vastly different, along with the block itself

that is a series I engine, it just simply wont work, you need to find a series II from a 95+ gm car

That engine would be perfect for a Fiero swap.:burn:
