  • Need help on how to get rid of water spots.

I posted this on Appearance and didn't get any help. If the moderators don't mind, I would like to ask here.

It rained a couple of weeks ago and my car port has holes and the rain dripped on my car's hood. The drip is mixed in with dirt and rust and it left a number of big water spots on my car.

I've used 3M rubbing compound, 3009, Meguire's paint cleaner, swirl removers, Zymol and just about everything. Washed the car 3 times already and nothing. The spots would not go away.

    What do you guys recommend?

i usually use maguire's quick detailer, after drying my car off to get rid of all the dirt and water spots left.

If these water spots won't come off, try a clay bar.

        Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
