water pump issue!

  • water pump issue!

    i replaced the water pump back in july '07 because of a leak, that worked, now in march '08, replaced it again, another leak, same area, and is still leaking, what should i look for now? is it a bad water pump? its a 94 3.4 firebird.

    What year is it?? is it a 3.8L or a 3.4L??

          its a 1994 3.4, i believe it was brand new and its leaking through the pinhole where i guess it supposed to leak from when it breaks down.

            Sounds like a bum pump to me. I wonder what would cause the seal go bad that quickly?

              At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
