    Re: Official Car Storage Thread

i am living in the Netherlands (Europe), and i am storing my Camaro in the winter for about 5 months.
    I do the following:
    - Put extra pressure in the tires about 50 psi, to avoid flat spots.
    - every year i change oil and filter before the storage.
    - My garage is heated, so moisture is not a problem.
    - i put the battery on a automatic charger the whole time.
    - i start him every 10 weeks, for about 15 minutes, till the engine is good warm.

I have my Camaro about 7 years now, and never any problems after the winter.

      Re: Official Car Storage Thread

Mine sits in the garage 99% of the time and while I will start it every month I don't drive it very often. So I have a battery tender on it and try to keep a full tank of 91 oct. most of the time. I'm going to have the outside detailed this coming month and put a car cover on it. I do the mobile 1 oil change every year and a new fuel filter. I think for the New Year I'm going to try and drive it every month for a hour or so.
