Passenger Door Hard to Shut

Passenger door's really hard to shut, get a loud metal-on-metal clang every time. Pontiac dealer said it was the door bushing, and that I should replace it with an oversize bushing.

I can also see where the body of the door is slamming into the metal components of the door latch on the car itself.


Any comments?

Its probably possible, but without seeing it or being there, your best bet is to tear the door off and figure out what it needs if you want a DIY

also, I wouldnt have the stealership do it, they will charge you alot more than a body shop / collision center would im sure.

Stealership always charges more >.> Gonna pick up a the bushing and see if that helps, if not, I'll replace the hinge. If its still ate up, I'll go to a body shop :(

replacing the bushing or hinge is easy... you will just need a few extra hands to help out.

I asked a body shop how much to adjust my door and they told me to swap bushings and asjust door would be about 100 or so.
