  • ignition setup..

I wanna go with NGK spark plugs, Accel spark plug wires, and an Accel coil. I dont plan on ever puting in a MSD ignition or anything. But I was wanting to know which Accel wires and coil go in a 95 3.4l a4. I just wanna make her idle and run just that much better and besides im doing yellow dressing under the hood.

in my past experience, the accel wires don't seem to last as long, compared with the taylor wires. i'd definately go with custom kit, the make-your-own wire kits suck.
also, with the 3.4 (unless you're running forced induction or NOS) you'll get longer life and better performance from AC Platinum plugs. they were designed with the proper heat range and reach for your engine.
as for the coils, i've heard good and bad about the accels. not a bad investment for the $, but i'd use a lot of dielectric grease on the bottoms (and maybe even thermal paste with heat sinks on the sides...) as they apparently fail due to heat.

        just my $0.02... good luck

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
