    so, yeah ive heard stock firebird has like 200 hp also heard it has 230hp...

    so if anyone can give me the heads up and clear this confusion it would be great..


    i have a 99 w68 firebird with a 80's series and K&N air filter...


    about average how much hp does my car have :P

    stock they come with 200hp at the engine. You lose that though through the drivetrain

      well have a w68 means u got more weight...so u loss a lil more hp

        gfx do not weigh enough to see a loss like that, c'mon. Plus weight doesn't affect hp to the wheels, weight does affect 1/4 times though

                      At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
                      Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
