• Free mods for 96-97

Does anyone have a list of the possible free mods for the 96-97 camaros/firebirds? I think it would be a good idea to compile a list for future newbies like myself.

Off the top of my head this early in the morning the only totally free mod i can think of is MAF screen removal and depending on who you talk to you are going to get different answers on whether that is a good idea or not.

on my roomates 96 3.8 camaro he built a ram air induction system and removed the MAF screen, he now has one of the faster N/A v6 camaros ive seen, although we dont have times on it yet

I found one that isn't completely free (most of it you could find laying in or around the tool box or at the local Home Depot or Lowes) but should help some. Here's the links:

        LT1 Ram Air: http://www.charm.net/~mchaney/ramair/ramair.htm

A good compliment to the ram air and simple 15 min procedure:

        Hope that helps someone

Hmmmm...remove that air silencer on the intake, contruct a custom ram air mod, port your throttle body at home....take off some weight like that weight thing that sits by your exhaust which does nothing...many more things probably too

If you do any of the "ram air" mods, beware of puddles.
