since i have a valvetrain tick i was gonna take off the valve covers and to do that u need to take off the upper manifold. i took out all 6 bolts and the egr valve off, the manifold is off the gasket in the front and the back is off just a little but it wont budge anymore. anyone have any suggestions?

did you get the hidden bolts? Is this the 3.4 or 3.8?

If you are positive you got them all then take a rubber mallet and pop it off lightly

              Re: manifold question

sounds like a 3.4 if you need to remove the upper manifold to remove the valve covers, but he's not fessing up on which motor he has.

he has a 3.4, ive been talking to him via AIM and cant figure it out, he says he has all 8 bolts out (6 long and 2 short) and it feels like its stuck on the middle back, the fuel rail is out and the brake booster line is unhooked. the map sensor is unhooked too. any ideas?
