Is Dupont a good brand? I was looking int o buying the paint and then having a place paint it for me so Im not overcharged.

Dupont a really good brand? I think its what ford uses but im not sure

there arent a whole lot of extremely knowledgable paint guys on this site to be honest. if youre serious about finding this out youre better off asking this to some people who deal more often with automotive paint.

Dupont does make good paint, and they make some economy paints too.

What particuliar series?

and don't forget the primer, clearcote, reducer, to go along with it.

its the Chromallusion, one that changes colors..

that is a good paint.

Pricey for the paint, and lots is needed for a good job, as well as don't forget needing a base color cote, normally black for that kind of paint job, depending on color changing properties.

talk to your painter before buying it, to see what he/she will want/need.

Just FYI your going to be looking at 600$ per pint of paint.
