• Changing Belt?

Not really sure if this belongs here or in drag racing...but what the hey

Also did a search and didnt find much

Was wondering if anyone changes their belts if they go to the drag strip, or even day to day basis?

Like put on a smaller belt to bi-pass air conditioning.

    Would this increase performance?

If i went to the track and changed my belt for a smaller one, would i increase performance?

I heard of people doing it, was wondering if its worth it or not. Also what size belt would i need?

I'd imagine it would increase your performance a little. Hey every tenth of a second counts right? Only problem is I heard someone talking about it ages ago and said that they didn't really market a belt for it so you'd probably have to find out how long the belt would be. If you do make sure you tell us. I'd be interested in doing it for when I go down to the track.
