  • Weight reduction - part weights

Hello everyone, some might remember me, some might not. I used to own a '98 Camaro A4 about two years ago, after I sold it I kinda dropped off the board. Now it looks like I'll be getting another '98 Camaro soon, a black 5-spd with T-tops. I've been searching through various threads for the weights of various parts I intend to remove, but I can't find what I'm looking for. Anyone care to help? If there's a list somewhere anyone can point me to, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I haven't seen one, but this would be a nifty write-up for someone to do if they have a lot of time on their hands
Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
    Custom interior...

http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17319 This one will give you a list of parts and most of their weights.

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...eduction+parts This one just gives you a few more parts to tackle if you want to.

Best thing you can do is search this site or any of the other F Body forums.

I already did. The only stuff I saw from James was a complete list of all the items he's removed from his car (with no part weights), and a short list with the weights of the passenger seat, rear seat, a a couple other miscellaneous things.

                thanks for the links, guys.
