Ok...maybe someone has had the same problem. When my car reaches about 60 mph it starts to make a whine sound from what sounds like the area under the passager seat. This sound stops when i hit 70 mph or when i let off the gas. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is making this sound?

Is this an hard fix for a guy with minimal repair skills? Anyone know how much it would cost to have a shop do it?

yes, shop = $300 max (unless it is an easy backlash reseting fix)
might have to get new gears though(the price would be the same)
