Where do i put The Air2Fuel Gauge Wire if i take out my cat?

I currently have a Autometer Air to fuel ratio Gauge and i remember when installing it i needed to tap into the O2 sensor after the cat to get correct readings, when i take my cat out where am i going to connect the wire for the gauge? Do i do on the pre cat o2 sensor? or does that not measure the same way as the post cat?

tap before the cat. Thats what you are supposed to do. Post cat screws it up and gives bad readings I was told. I have mine on a switch so I can monitor both manifolds.
