  • Replace window motor?

    Has anyone ever done this? I bought the motor the other day from Autozone but have no clue how to install it. Its real hot down here in Texas and my drivers side wont roll down. Im burning up!! Please help!

    There's a guide floating around here somewhere. Search it up. Just takes an hour or so.

      yeah, you would be best searching for the guide. once you get the door panel off, you have to feel around with your fingers to find the rivets before you can decide where in the door panel to drill holes to drill out the rivets... It's a pain, but common, they go out pretty often.. and you can see why when you look at the window motors..

      how much did you pay for that window motor? i called up knetchs and they wanted $93 for it, when i found it on ebay for under 30 shipped..

      anyway, good luck, it's a pain, but not impossible.

        Well I just did mine and I must say that the job is very easy providing you have the right tools, the drilling is very easy and iv you use bigger screws than the ones included you'll be done in no time. The hardest part to me was reaching around the panel to plug in the power connector. the guide is hwere
