    did egr delete today, that is the first and last time i plan on sawing soild iron by hand. it took like an hour to saw both sides, its not pretty, but if it warps, i dont know what will hold up. the only thing i am worried about holding up is the high temp rtv. and i want to find a better way to hold the filter on.

    oh come on! you have to saw one more to put over the intake. :) i think its good to go, doubt it will warp.

      why not just block off the egr-to-intake at the intake. seems like that egr is just picking up hot engine air.
      regardless, it probably wont make any difference

        this way he doesn't have to tune out the codes that removing the whole thing would throw. The engine air is cooler than that exhaust air

          Have you noticed any loss of Gas Milage yet? I heard its ~1 mpg.?

              did u get any perfromences gains out of doing this?
              2000 camaro rs:whisperlid, 2.5 magnaflow exhaust, catco high flow cat, fast toys cai, 3.73, 160 power stat, msd 8.5 wires ngk iridium spark plugs, hpp3, zzp w/p and alt. under drive pullies, 1.9 Rockers/LS6 Springs with ls1 retainers

                nothing real noticeable, i mainly did it to stop buildup of gunk in my intake
