  • Air Conditioner

I am having a problem with the air conditioner on my 3.1 camaro. It would make the whole engine shudder (bad cluth in it... i think) and aggrivate me to no end. I disconnected the connector in the back of it and seems to have gotten better. But i was wondering if there is some possible way to disconnect the compressor all together?

Any help in this matter is much appreciated

    -Thanks

      Re: Air Conditioner

Was the AC working OK even though the engine was shuddering? Maybe the idle was not increasing with the increased load. Check to see where your tach is with the AC on and then off. The idle should be the same. Would hate to see you lose your AC because of a non-AC problem.

        Re: Air Conditioner

I would rather just take the ac off anyway. The a/c isnt cool and needs recharged, plus i like usin' the t-tops better. Im lookin for a few more horses cheap but cant find the pulley for the delete anywhere. Im getting shipped out in a five weeks and would like to have as much fun with the car as i can.

Thanks for takin the time fellas
