My '94 Firebird ( 96K with auto trans) has a DTC #77 (#3 Solenoid EGR). I've replaced the EGR twice...but the code still sets. Now the car is missing while in 4th gear if I accelerate. Are the two issues related?
Is there a known cure for the EGR issue?

I had the same problem in my old 94 firebird, but once i had the Egr valve and pipe (it was cracked) changed the trouble code didn't appear again. Are you sure it was installed properly?
