  • What kind of plugs you guys runnin

Gettin ready to swap the plugs and wires in my 96rs 3800. Just wondering what you guys were running in your car. I have heard a few people say you need to run platnum in these, and a few say put exactly in them as what came in them. Just wanted to get some opinions of you guys since alot of you have the same engine as me. Thanks alot, any help is much appreciated. Later Jason

AutoLite coppers, and NAPA wires. Runs great, but this is also on a mostly stock 96. I wouldn't recommend the platinums, a lot of people have complaints with them.

I also used AC Delco triple platinum plugs in my 96 Camaro. Same for the wires, whatever the highest quality AC Delco wire was is what I used.

Anyone ever use the NGK TR6. I got the Taylor Spiro 8mm wires and they look really nice. But just wondering about the plug. Guy I got the car from said he was planning on running nitrous so he bought these plugs. Should I swap these out for the TR55's. The ones of you running the TR55's, are you stock or modded. And if so will I be fine runnig the TR55 or the TR6 on a stock 3.8. Thanks alot guys Jason

I should have gone with NGK but all I could find at the local autoparts was Bausch platinum, AC Delco wires. I am quite pleased with them however.
