check your tailpipe mounts (the brackets that hold your tailpipes to the car)
my screw worked loose and took me a week to find it

The rattle sounds like its coming from infront of me and I can feel it through the gas pedal at around 1500 RPM. Could it be the place that put my headers on F***ed up???Ben

1995 White/Black 3.4L
As far away from stock as possible
My Site!!!
RedLineV6
Rebuild and 3.4 T70 Turbo is complete
Details to come....

Well thats weird, bc I am getting that same strange vibration and rattle when I put my car in gear and I have a stock cat. Does that mean my heatsheild is ****ed up too? I also have another problem when I accelerate I can hear this hissing noise maybe from the exhaust?

If you hear a hissing noise, it might be that your headers are leaking and you might need to have them welded.1997 Camaro RS A4
3.08 Rear
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/470169
Mods:
SLP Cold Air Intake
Flowmaster 80 Series Muffler
MSD Ignition Coils
Soon to be installed:
3.42 Gears
MSD Plug Wires

guys i had the EXACT same problem, the rattling while in gear, well its only gonna get worse. Its the cat. I just got a new one when Installed my headers and everythings fine now. You'd beter take action quick cause eventually the cat insides will clog your exhaust.

just take the cats off :D

I bet the flanges didn't seal well....I had this problem too...the pacesetter bolts were too long....just take a couple extra washers and put them on each bolt....that fixed it for me. Seems to be a common problem.98 Bright Red Camaro
Too many mods to list....check my website

Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
By: Hib Halverson
At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 10:30 PM
