When my car was sputtering, I changed the fuel filter and that did nothing... turned out that it was bad wires and coil packs...

Ya but I changed them all in novemeber/december though. Things went the hell after I used sea foam and k-100-g fuel cleaner. In my opinion I think its the fuel cleaner. I'm going to see what happens the next time I gas up. I'll also change the oil to get rid of the sea foam I put in there too. I've replace my plugs and o2 sensors so I'm running out of options.

Its not that its sputtering, its that I have no throttle response, I can floor it and keep slowly increasing speed. The rpms and everything is fine its just making power which is why I think its something in the fuel line

Maybe you clogged ur cat converter. That's what happens when it gets clogged - you can increase speed, only slowly. If you get no codes for misfires, that's what I would check.

Would I have messed up the glasspack?? I noticed where I had an exhaust leak that there was a lot of water on the ground below. Would the water have damanged the glasspack?? I don't think thats it though b/c it wouldn't be clogged. I really need to figure this out.

How could sea foam muck up my coils and wire which all have less than 3000 miles on them???

Describe exactly how it happens and when it happens how does the car behave? Sounds/fibrations/pedal feel, etc...

u sure your plugs are gapped correctly?

I think you just need to let that fuel additive burn through, cuz I think it's what's causing it.

I think its the fuel too, I'll find out this weekend after I goto the Cleveland Auto show. The car has no throttle response. It idles rough, the car shakes/vibrates when accelerating, and the exhaust sounds like it has a rough chop to it. The plugs are grapped correctly too. I only have about another 30-50 miles left in my tank so I'll know soon. I hope it goes way with some better gas.

Well changed the oil today, that was the problem. Tired to change the fuel filter but it would move. Something tells me its the stock filter, never been replaced, with 65,000 miles on it

Well filter didn't change anything. Going to run another tank of non additive gas to see if that cleans things out. If that doesn't do it going to put sea foam in the gas this time and not the other crap i used before.

Geez man, this is why I never used sea foam, stuff like that creates more problems then it's own good. I used TB cleaner in my car once and cleaned out my TB by taking it off, thats the last time i'm ever gonna do preventive maintenance, my car was down for like 2 weeks. Anyway, glad you figured out the problem. I was going to say it sounded like you might of got to much on the MAF or maybee the TPS sensor in the throttle body. I don't see how it could really short our your wires or coil packs? The most I could see it doing is fouling out the spark plugs. Ahh you get some weird comments from the peanut gallery sometimes though. Anyway, glad you got ur problem solved.
