• Newb cam question

Ok, after my headers are in, I want to do a camshaft. No doubt about it. I really have ZERO know how concerning the lobe and things like that. I would like to tell everyone my application, and go from there. This engine will remain NA and I want a very SAFE cam. Nothing with issues, or things for me to worry about a safe cam to amplify my current efforts. Mods are listed below. Also.. what kind of hp is expected from a safe cam? Moderate? strip cam?
What kind of computer programming is necessary? if at all? Don't tell me to do a search bc i didn't feel like it

plz tell me what hp specifically (crank or wheels) thx

btw 75k miles on the motor

aw come on.. any advice? especially from someone who has one? What's the worst that could happen from a mild one?

from a fairly mild one, like the comp cams gt cam, you stand the possibility of throwing the ses light because the pcm thinks there are multiple random missfires. some people have that problem, some dont.
